Principal's Message

It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to the new school year. This moment is particularly special for me as I embark on my first year as Principal of Knight High School. While I am new to this specific campus, I am deeply rooted in our community, having dedicated the past 20 years to education, all proudly served within the Antelope Valley Union High School District. It is an honor to bring two decades of local experience to this role, and I look forward to serving this incredible community.

To both our returning families and those joining us for the first time, I want to express my deepest gratitude. Thank you for choosing Knight High School and for entrusting us with your children’s education. We know that your child is your most precious gift, and we take the responsibility of their growth, safety, and success very seriously. We firmly believe that a student's success relies on a strong collaboration between home and school. By working together, we can cultivate a positive learning environment that empowers every student to reach their full potential.

As we step into this new year, we remain committed to the values that define our school culture. We are dedicated to building a space rooted in community, empathy, and diversity, where safety is a priority and every student feels included. To support this environment, we encourage you to help your student establish consistent reading and homework routines while also supporting them as they explore new interests. We are committed to celebrating not just high achievement, but also the hard work and effort our students demonstrate every day.

Your active involvement makes a tangible difference in our school's success. We ask that you stay connected by monitoring student progress through the online portals, maintaining open lines of communication with our teachers, and getting involved by volunteering or joining the PTSA. I am incredibly excited about the year ahead, the new goals we will reach, and the milestones we will celebrate together.
